Pierluigi Colli Table with Verde Alpi Marble Top and Wooden Structure circa 1940
This immense table was designed by Pierluigi Colli in Turin, further on the Alps and the shady expanses of forests and rivers that make it up. The table is an absolute example of this geography, the use of wood that structures the supports and the legs, modelled according to strips that can almost be traced back to the elegance of Buffa’s furniture and the top in “Verde Alpi” marble, knurled according to ripples that are almost more similar to rock than marble.
